One Stop Solutions
Ocean State Video can guide
you through the production process from
proposal to duplication. We want
to listen to your needs and help plan a
production that will match your budget
and exceed your expectations. We
work closely with a network of
professionals that we can bring into the
project to assemble the best team for
your production.
Director of Photography
Jim Karpeichik is an Emmy award winning videographer with over 25
years of experience around the globe.
Our primary cameras include a Panasonic
HPX500 P2 High Definition camera, a Sony
D-30 Betacam camera and an Ikegami HL DV7 switchable DVCam.
We also use a Sony HVR-Z1U HDV/DVCAM for POV
and low profile camera work. Our equipment
is set up and maintained by Roger Macie.
The complete package includes wireless
audio and network quality lighting.
1 or 2 person crews no problem! We
also shoot HD, HDV, Digital Betacam,
MiniDV and DVCPro. We can
shoot on location or arrange a studio if
needed. Ask
about how our EZ-FX mini Jib can add to
the quality of your production.
Post Production
Ocean State Video edits uncompressed video on a state of the art
Final Cut Pro edit system. Adobe
After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
and DVD Studio Pro round out our
production suite. Nonlinear
editing enables our clients to make
changes on the fly as well as produce
multiple versions of the same project
without extensive re-editing.
Formats include Betacam SP, DVCPro, DVCAM,
HDV,
MiniDV, SVHS and VHS.
P2HD
What is P2HD? P2 HD is a full production-quality, high-definition
recording system that utilizes removable
solid-state memory cards. This approach
eliminates the mechanical wear and
environmental limitations of tape and
optical-disc-based systems. P2 HD
provide immediate access to recorded
video (no need to digitize). Just as
still photographers transitioned from
film to digital, so too is television
transitioning away from video
tape. Our Panasonic P2HD camera
allows us to shoot in HD today, deliver
in SD now and when you're ready we can
deliver in HD.
